Riding Lessons in Cornwall

We come to you across Cornwall — Launceston, Bude, Camelford, Holsworthy, Stratton, Bodmin and the surrounding villages. Whether you keep your horse at home or at a livery yard, we can deliver a professional lesson in your own arena, or meet you at a local hire venue.

Travel is included in your quote based on distance from our Okehampton base. We can also coordinate with neighbours and yard-mates so several riders share one trip and keep individual costs down.

Many Cornish riders come to us for help bridging the gap from confident hacker to competitive dressage rider. We coach flatwork from the basics through to Elementary, with a strong focus on rhythm, accuracy and the lateral work that wins marks at affiliated and unaffiliated tests alike.

For jumping and eventing riders, our flatwork sessions feed straight into better balance, more controllable strides and quieter horses on cross-country day.

We are available to Pony Club branches across Cornwall, as well as private families looking for one-to-one tuition for their children. Adult learners and returning riders are equally welcome — we know how nerve-wracking it can be to pick riding back up after years away, and our coaching style is patient, calm and judgement-free.

If your horse needs a tune-up but you can't put in the saddle time yourself, our schooling service is ideal. We will ride and progress your horse on the specific skills you want developed, then walk you through the changes so you can keep building on them. Horse and pony care/holiday cover is also available within five miles of our base.
